Bodega SF

Bodega SF, a family-run, Northern Vietnamese restaurant based in San Francisco, closed its doors in 2016, only to rise from the ashes during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. This revival took the form of a pop-up collaboration with another eatery, a move that initially left potential patrons scratching their heads.

To alleviate the confusion and entice customers, I was tasked with designing a poster menu for the pop-up location. Drawing inspiration from the past when I hand-lettered the logo in 2015, I crafted a vibrant yellow poster adorned with whimsical illustrations. Complemented by takeout menus and stickers, this creative solution proved to be highly effective in clarifying the restaurant's identity and attracting diners.

Thanks to these efforts, Bodega SF now flourishes in a stunning full-service establishment in downtown San Francisco, a testament to its enduring spirit and dedication to serving exquisite Northern Vietnamese cuisine.
